Valencia World Record Day

What do you do when all events are cancelled due to COVID-19 regulations, but your athletes have devoted their lives to be in world-record shape? You organize your own event and make it happen. Together with tremendous support from our partners such as NN Group and Valencia City Of Running we put together a totally unique, one day event focused on world class performance. In the Turia stadium in Valencia, Spain we witnessed Joshua Cheptegei (UGA) and Letesenbet Gidey (ETH) both run new World Records on the 10.000m and 5000m with many other athletes breaking personal or national records.
